On Friday night, the 22nd inst, ..
"The Sweetest Girl in Dixie" will be ]
presentee by local talent. This play
is one of the sweetest ever given on ,
the stage. It is truly Southern in
plot, setting, tradition and morals.
The teachers and young men assisting
have given no little effort toward
getting it up. From gleanings
caught, this play promises to be one
of the best ever given here. A large

Harrelson died Thursday, April 14,
at 4 o'clock p m. She is survived ,
by her devoted husband and several
small children, besides a host of
friends who mourn her loss. The
bereaved family have the sympathy
of the community. May the Divine
Parent 0 nard and comfort those
I little ones deprived of a mother's
tender ministering.
Our community was blessed with
a refreshing rain Sunday, to the
great delight of all the farmers.

dows became loosened by the report. !

to the place from which the re- \

port came and a yawning hole was :
found, about 15 feet by 20 feet, and !
a little over 6 feet deep. Noth- \
