The news came irough a cablegram to E H Byars, is father. No particulars were a iven except that typhoid fever was A le cause of death. Arthur Byars was about 24 years Id and a graduate of Clemson ( allege. Last year he received an c ppointment in the agricultural deartment of the Philippine governlent, and he had every promise of J useful and successful career.
