DEATH OF MR R F WHITEHEAD.
Was Horn in Williamsburg County and
Had Relatives Here.
Robert Ferrell Whitehead died
at 7:30 this morning at his home,
112 Lee Avenue. Mr Whitehead
was born in Williamsburg county,
South Carolina, in 1855, bei?g
thus fifty-four years of age. He
leaves a wife and three children
to mourn his death: Mr Marion
L Whitehead, of River Junction,
Fla., Mr Thos Whitehead, of
Fort Pierce, Fla., and Miss Julia
Whitehead, of this city. Mr
Whitehead has made his home
in Waycross for the past 20
years, and was a consistent
member of the Presbyterian
church. The funeral services
will be held at the First Presbyterian
church on Williams street
on Thursday morning at ten
o'clock.conducted by Rev Robert
Grant. Interment in Lett cemetery.
The following gentlemen will
act as pall bearers: H A Harris,
R L Atkinson, J W S Hardy, T
C Sauls. IS Knight, S BSpear.
