It seems that it is tune to stop

and want to go on those conions,
why, go and say nothing

the conditions laid dow n and
rt go, then don't say so much

esidental breakfast which I saw

ELECTRIC LIGHTS? !
Proposition Submitted to Council for
Pulling in Lighting Plant*
M r 11 C Case, of Philadelphia
and (ieur^etown. and Mr L
Mouzon of (ifureetown ap,
::.'ed before the town ccuneilj
last nitfht at a special meeting!
to submit a proposition for
li^htimr the town by electricity
and putting in a water-works
plant.
As we understand it. the promoters
of the enterprise ask
only for the franchise and a
guarantee that the town will
take a certain number of lights
for the business streets. Xot
a dollar ot local capital is asKed
for,so that there seems to be
all to gain and nothing1 to lose.
The council, we are informed,
isdisposedtoconsider favorably
the general proposition v.hich
has been submitted. The promoters
are to put their de:inite
proposition in writing in the
[near future when it will be
regularly acJpd on by the
council.
.Mr Case is at the head of the
company that is now furnishing
electric lights for the city of
Georgetown and his company
is just about to put in a trolley
system in Georgetown.
