When Mr Nettles,who lives next

Julius Ard, in family Row.
< hi last Friday night Julius Ard]
struck Dick Barfield with a piece of]
fence rail, from the effects of which
Barfield died Saturday afternoon.
Both parties live near Greelyville.
It se2ms that Barfield was returning
from Greelyville Friday evening
and stopped at the home of Mr Colin
Ard, the father of Julius Ard, and
while there started to raise a disturbance,
being uuder the influence
of liquor, and when Julius Ard remonstrated
with him, he started toward
Julius with a knife. d the latter
picked up a fence rail and struck
him down with it. With assistance
Barfield was able to walk to his
home, about lj miles distant, and
lived until Saturday afternoon.
Ard was arrested by the magistrate
at Greelyville and committed to
jail to await the next term of court.
Tt is .1 verv denlorable occurrence.

since JJarfield was Ard's uncle and
they had always been very friendly.

Louis Boon,a leading merchant of
Norway, Mich, writes: '"Three bottles
of Foley's Honey and Tar absolutely
cured my boy of a severe
cough, and a neighbor's boy, who
was so ill with a cold that the doctors
gave him up, was cured by taking
Folev's Honey aud Tar." Nothing
tlse is as safe and sure in results.
