On March 27 the Teachers' as- i
sociation of Georgetown connty'
will meet here. As this is the
last meeting of the session the
programme for this occasion
will be unusually entertaining
as well as beneficial. The president
of the association hopes to
have the Williamsburg association
to meet here also at the
same time.
We are now in the midst of
the March examinations; everybody
and seems to think his examination
the hardest of all.
Only three months more and
'08-'09 will be ended.
On Thursday, March 4, Mrs
Dietrick of New York lectured
to the school in the interest ot
temperance. Her lecture was
helpful as well as interesting
and will accomplish much toward
character building.

The Civic association ought to get r

trash on the stieets and how often (
and what day it is to be gathered up ^
and carted away. Or Whether this t
is to be done at all. And if it is not 1
to be carted away then it ought not *
to be put on the streets. We have c
seen garbage put on the street and
remain there until it was scattered
to the winds. *
