The Tostojfice Department require*
us to discontinue nil papers sent to '
Subscribers one year or longer in ar- ;
rears. JJV bare deferred revising our
mailing list thoroughly partly by
reason of lark of ft me and parflt/ because
ire kept on hoping that all delinquents
would come ujt and pay
what they arc owing us. JIV regret to
say, however. that it looks now as
though quite a large projtortion of
those whose names are on our lis?do
not intend to pay what is due on the \
paper and we are forced, in self-defense,
to cut them off on the principle
that it is poor ndticy to send good
money a fter bod. Hence, we hereby
(jive noti<e (1) that after January 1,
1909, not a single copy of The County
Record fill fte scut to any person {
longer thou a year on credit.
(2) That to every subscriber who
does not pay for the paper fo( a full
year in ad ranee the snbsn'ijtiiou price
is $1.25 a year.
(3) That any person now yet tiny
the jtaper who docs not care to tide if
any longer upon these terms will confer
a fa cor by pay ing up what he
owes and notifying us to take his
name off onr mailing list.

The Clements-Lee Company.
The C(tHnents-Lee Company
held the boards at Thomas opera
house .Monday, Tuesday and
[Wednesday nights, with "llu!
inanity," "Old Dan Tucker" and
|"Is Marriage a Failure?"' the
j bills respectively for the three
[evening performances. Yester[day
afternoon a matinee was
given.
The Clements-Lee Company is
: one of the many "polite vaudeJville
shows'' traveling over the
country. The acting is mediocre
and the repertoire confined to
light comedy and melodrama,
but the players seem to be con
SCieilUUUS ill men iuics auucainestly
anxious to please. Altogether,
their coming makes a
pleasant break in the monotony
of hum-drum existence and affords
the opportunity to pleasantly
while away the long, dull
evenings. The specialties are
fairly good"and the management
courteous. Good audiences have
attended all the performances
and general satisfaction is expressed.
The company goes from
here to fill a three nights' engagement
in Georgetown.
