Two of the lady teachers, Misses Campbell aud Beckham, went on a shopping tour last Friday and Saturday to Sumter, Florence and other points and came back delighted with their trip. J The Williamsburg Teacners t association met in the Kingstree school building on Satur; day, November 7, with the \ splendid attendance of thirty- f tive. This is the largest num- r ber that ever has attended a jj meeting and it greatly increased ( the interest of some of the older t members who had begun to be c discouraged by the poor attend- ? ance formerly. Several spirited j discussions on certain subjects l added much to the interest of t the occasion. Five of our t teachers were there. All the c . others were from the county, 8 coming quite a distance to at tend the meeting. js Yesterday the tenth grade I (pupils were going" around with long and doleful faces.
