of Benson and Miss Mattie

I was moved and carried that
these papers be published in
| The County Record. Messrs
Speignei, Bennett and others
made brief talks on rural school

I Webb was elected delegate to
| the State Teachers' association
in Columbia. There
j were sixteen new members
added to the roll, which was
most encouraging". The attendance
at this meeting was
unusually large. There will be
two discussions at the next

and canvassed the vote for Williamsburg

Mr J J Morris was elected
messenger to convey to Columbia
the returns for the Federal
election as required by law. The
State and county returns were
forwarded by mail and express.
