dispensary.
Gov Ansel ha. dered a special

charged with the murder of Emanuel
Carver.

with a pistol. Melancholia brought
about by financial troubles is thought

A strange case of suicide took
place recently in Lexington, wherein
John D Parr took his own life.
Farr had been a candidate for county
superintendent of education in
the recent primary, and the surpris
ing feature of the affair is that he
was nominated by some 300 majority

District, has resigned as a notary
public. He desires to be on the safe
side and to avoid all suspicion of the
