Jack Beall of Texas, delivered while
the Agricultural bill was pending
and just prior to the filibuster. In
concluding his speech he drew a
striking picture of the president,
which fairly brought down the
house, both Democrats and Republicans
joining in with the spectators
iu applause. In speaking of
the present occupant of the White
House, Mr Beall said: ,
