Delnas' Speeck The New York Sun says of the speech of Del mas, the California lawyer, in his summing up for Thaw: "He juggled with metaphor, he played with simile, he apostrophised, and he hurled the hyperbole. He summoned an army of adjectives to his aid, and of adverbs be was unafraid." Whether words used with skill have lost their power wild probably be known before this reaches the reader. The Sun calls it a style of oratory ma>de popular a good many years ago in the shadow of Bunker Hill and which has been traveling Westward with the course of empire. ??? : Notice To ;; : * Shrewd : :: Buyers. : X Our buyer has secured ja lot of clothing by which }! will gain your trade and * J you will save money.# This year's goods and} mest styles, Drummers' i. : Sample Suits WORTH $12.00 TO $15.00 t OUR PRICE $9.50.
