I Be it ordained by the Intendant and
Wardens of the Town of Kingstree in
lOouncil assembled and by authority of
[the same:
Sec. 1. That a tax of thirty (30)
cents on every one hundred dollars of
the assessed value of all real and per- '
sonal property within the said Town |
(not exempt by law) be and the same is a
hereby levied to meet the current ex- '
penses of the town. I (
2nd. That the tax herein provided *
for shall be ma^e 011 the assessment and
valuation placed on the said property
for the purpose of County and State ]
taxes.
3rd. That the tax herein levied shall ,
be due or payable on or before the 1st i .
day of April in each year and that a .
nenaltv of one Dec rent for the first
II month and 2 per cent for the second C
I month shal! be added to each tax not
[paid when due. That execution as!,
provided by law shall issue for all taxes J
[not paid within 2 months after they are
due.
4th. That all ordinances inconsistent '
