. Mr N D Lesesne has accepted the
position of assistant cashier in the
Bank of Kingstree. Mr Lesesne's
many friends in town are glad to welcome
him again as a citizen of Kingstree.

The intelligence of the death of
Mrs MattBroadhurstatLulaton, Ga.
on Tuesday, August 30, brought
sorrow to her relatives here. The deceased
was a sister of Messrs James,
EdwiD, William and Miss Mollie
Epps of Kingstree, and also Mr
Isaac Epps of McClellanville, S. C.
Besides these relatives Mrs Broadhuret
leaves two sons, two daughters
and a number of nieces and nephews.
Registration Notice.
The office of the Supervisors of Registration
will be opened on the first
Monday in every month for the purpose
of the registering of any person
who is qualified as follows:
