good music for the Commencement
exercises. A male quartet consisting
of Messrs Carr, Gilland, McCutchen
and Wolfe will sing. There is some
good talent in Kingstreeand it should
be used.
Mr Gilbert Epps has resigned his
position as assistaut cashier of the
Bank of Kingstree and left last week
for Baltimore to take business coarse
at Bryant and Stratton'e Commercial
College. Mr Lucius Montgomery
has succeeded him in the bank.

Mr N W Cook, the popular superintendent
of the ACL Corp. log department,
was in town Saturday
night Mr Cook told us that recently
at the camp near town he killed a
rattle-snake five fee', long,^ whose
caudal appendage was adornc with
16 rattles and a button.

I sermon by Rev. F. O. S. Curtis I
j of Dillon, S. C., and conclude on |
! Monday evening at 8.30 o'clock,
when the diplomas will be presented
to the seven members of
the gnduating class. As the
commencement orator Prof Wiggins
has been fortunate in securing

B Martin. The programme as
set forth below Wnl be a very
interesting and enjoyable one.
The graduating essays are
said to be of an unusually high
order of excellence and their
reading will be interspersed with
vocal and instrumental music. I
