praise, perhaps the most interesting
feature was the six boys ^
dressed as Indians, with feathers
and paint in true aboriginal j
style, representing the "Boston I
Tea Party." They rushed on the i
stage with a yell, such as only !
a hearty school boy can give,! '
which sounded so genuine that! ^
it made us almost imagine a few , f

The school as a whole made a
fine appearance, and seemed to
be under perfect control. We ^
venture to say there is no better 3
and larger school anywhere in
the country, no better teachers,
and no better work than is done
here. ^
Mr William Cooper, county
superintendent of education,
paid a visit to the school a few n
days ago, which was very much f(
appreciated. His talk to the
scholars was quite instructive.
