The legislature at its last session
passed a law prohibiting the selling

Mr W S Grayson of Benson was
in town Monday, accompanied by
his son, Mr Austin B Grayson. Mr
Austin Grayson was raised in
Williamsburg, but of late years has
resided in far-off Ohio. His old
friends are pleased to see him after
his long absence.
Misses Bessie and Janie Johnson,
who are visiting Miss Lula Strong,
have returned from Florence,
whither they were called last week
by the sad intelligence of the death
of their uncle and aunt, Mr and
Mrs Henry J Thomas, who died
within a few days of each other.
