September 7?Harpers, 1U a. in.; Greelyville 11 a. ra.; Hamony 3:30 p. m. Died of Paralysis. Died?at the home of Mr J M Barley, Scran ton, S. C., Mrs Ida Tanner. Mrs Tanner, while visiting Mrs Baxley, was stricken with paralysis, which resulted fatally a few days later. She spoke only once or twice after being attacked. Her left side was paralyzed after the first shock and later on the paralysis extended over her whole body. Mrs Tanner had sustained a paralytic shock in April. 1902, but had recovered flora the attack. The deceased was held in high ao wu?J O V i H On I'Wwl }?V t.hl COI^XUlf UO 1*?0 V-< VN v. ? J ... large croud that attended her funeral. She was about 46 years old. The remains were carried to Lake Chapel on Sunday morning and laid to rest to await the resurrection. The funeral services were conducted by Rev Mr Jones. Mrs Tanner is survived by seven o'lildren? iw sons and two daughters?one brother and a large circle of other relatives and friends. She had been a consistent member of Lake Chapel for twelve years. May the good Lord abundantly bless all her relatives, especially her dear children and grand-children. J. W. Benson, August 17.?Rev H F Oliver and Rev William Roof preached at their respective churches last Sunday, Mr Oliver at Cedar Grove at 11 o'clock, and Mr Roof at the Methodist chureh at 4 p. m.
