About a week ago at Hebron
Mr A Slide (Joker's little child, one
year old, got hold ot a box containing
over twenty of "KamonV'

them all. Nineteen of the pills
passed through the bowels undis
solved, to which no Joubt the
child owes its life. The ones that
were dissolved produced hemorrhage.
Dr Johnson was called in
and relief given, but at last accounts
the child was not entirely
out of danger.
Three fair and accomplished
young school-ma'arns, viz.. Miss
Martha Gourdin, of Bethel school;
Miss Mary M Brunson, of Spring
Bank school, and Miss Lulu Epps,
