at the home of Mr John M Klein
yesterday at high poon. The contracting
parties were Dr Charles
J Epps of Columbia and Miss
Afenes Klein of this place. Rev
W C Kirkland of the Methodist
church performed the ceremony.
The parlors were beautifully
decorated with roses, chrysanthemum*
and evergreens and presented
a scene of loveliness.

There were only a few intimate
friends of the parties at the cere?
mony, bnt a host of thenr. enjoyed
the delightful reception which
was given afterward, and vied
with each other rn the cordiality

and pro?perity of the happy
couple. They received quite
a number of presents, a great
many of which were very handsome.
Dr Epps is now connected with
the Aiurrv Drug Co. of Columbia,
but was in the drug business here
for a number of years. He is a
young man of ability and character
and makes friends wherever
he goes. He is co- sidered as one
of the' best pharmacists in the
' 8tate.
. M?>s Klein is one of Walterborro's
fairest and sweetest maid
ens. She is a young lady ol culture
and is highly accomplished,
especially in music. She has a
host of friends who regret to see
her leave.
The happy parr left on the afternoon
train for Savannah. After
spending a few days there they
will return to Columbia where
they.will make their future home.
They were accompanied as lar as

on them much rice and many
