Mr J J M Grahan has purchased an acre lot on the south west corner of Dansin^ and Church streets. Tapers have passed. The lot was secured as the site for a new tobacco warehouse. Mr Graham informs us that th** warehouse wiii be built in time for the next tobacco season. The site is an admirable one for the business intended. We wish abundant success to the venture. Mr Charles K Weaver has purchased the lot on Dansing street adjoining Mrs L h Grimsley. The lot contains an acre. He will build a bakery on this lot at once. In fact he is now putting the materials on the ground. We are glad to learn of this enterprise. A hakerv- has been needed here quite a while. We feel satisfied that such a venture backed bv a good judgement will succeed. Mr Weaver is a thorough reliable man and will make a good citizen. He has our best wishes. A few days ago we met an old Florence county friend on the street. He was in a good humor. Such a smile as he then wore had not been seen on his sign bo.nr< in many a day. and we remarket that he was looking well. He re plied, 4*Well, old man, I do fee good.
