honor of the flag they defended

are the toasts given:
The Russian said: "here is to
the bars and stars that have never

The Turk said: uHere is to the
moon of Turkey, whose wings

The Frenchman said: ''Here is

The American said: ' Here is

The Eng'ishman concluded as
follows: '-Here is to the rampant,

county on Monday Jim Tillman
was elected one of the delegates
to the State convention by (he
large majority of two votes. There
were 83 ballots cast in the elec>
lion for representatives in the
State convention; of these ti. n,.
