The teachers will spend this time at their respective homes. Mrs. M. S. Montgomery and children returned to their home at Kingstree Wednesday alter a lew days visit to relatives in town. ?Georgetown Outlook. Mr. James F. Chandler, of Dock, having been adjudged insane hy Drs. Scott and Johnson, was taken to Colombia Monday evening to be committed to the Stale lunatic asylum. ,t On last Sunday Rev. W. S. Martin preached two sermons in town; in the morning at the Presbyterian church by invitation ol the pastor, and in the evening in the Methodist church. The friends of Col. The marriage will lake place at their home near Kingstree Wednesday evening, January 1, 1902 The invitations appeared yesterday. Her. W Smith Martin and family took their departure Monday evening for their new home at Johnston, to which place Mr. Martin was stationed at the recent conierence. Mr. Stoll has had fine educational advantages, being a graduate of Wo fiord,Co liege to which is added several years experience in teaching. Mr. Stoil will locate in lvingstree; forming a partnership with his brother, Mr. C. W. Stoll. St. Amand stood his examination last Thursday betore the supreme court in Columbia and whs sworn in the following day as a lawyer. Early in January ol the new year Mr. St. Amand will move to Newberry, S. C , to engage in the practice of his profession with his ancle, Hon. Cole L. Blease, as a partner.
