tion. The outgoing administration
spent money so freely that there
were not enough funds left at the!
end ot their term to have a report f
published telling how the money
was spent'. We have it from a
reliable source that at the beginning
of their term $144 was turned
over to them by their predecessors.
$35 additional was raised
by increasing the licenses ol drug j
stores and undertakers' establishments
and $200 besides was borrowed
to pay current expenses,
making a total of $370 above what J
was ex {tended during the pieced
ing administration. There have
been made some permanent improvements
