The commodious two-story store
building being erected bv Mr.
J. N. Sauls on Main Street opposite
Nesmith Bros., is being rapidly
pushed to completion, and
will add much to the look* of our;
town. This building will be occupied
by Mr. A. A. Mar, one of I
our merehants. Mr. Sauls is also;
erecting a dwelling near the de-'
pot, which adu sitiurh to that par!
of town.
For two seasons past, we have;
had as good r? lint cotton market as!
our county aflords, and we ven-!
ture to say one of the best cotton
seed markets in the State.
Our people are not behind i'h
the truck growing irlterest; the!
product of eighty-five acies of!
beans, along wiih other vegetables
grown for Northern markets hav-,
ing been shipped from this point
