There seems to be some doubt
as to the legality of drawing the
next grand jury. Court, we believe,
does not convene here uutii

Entile Arrowsmith, one ot our
most promising young men, is in
town during Mr. lleller'.s absence.
He is now a partner with Mr.
Heller, doing a fine busiress in
Georgetown. Our best wishes to

.Representative Keels has introduced
a bill ;n the bouse to
amend the act as to the county
government ot Williamsburg
county, and as to the salary of
Hip clerk of court, so as to increase
Ihe same.
Quite a crowd came to town on
Monday considering there was
nothing unusual going on. The
couuty officers were all at their
posts, arid things seem to be moving
along smoothly with them a'l.
We regret very much to learn
of the death ot Mrs. L. W, McCants,
of the Indiantown section,
which sad event took place o*
Monday. Mr*. McOants was a good
woman and will be greatly missed
in her community.
Next week will be the last of the
South Carolina Bargain House in
Kingsiiee. We are selling $5 suits

As was announced In last weeks

stree on Thursday last and hay
been preaching to good congregation
in the Methodiat church daily,
morning and evening.
Mr. Leitch is a line specimen of
a man physicallv,and mentally he
is a power. No one can tell anything
about him. until they go and
hear the man talk hit own talk?
Agreat many people confound him
with the little Sam Jones imitators
that have sprung up all over
the land, and as there is only one
Sam Jones, so there is but one
Tom Leitch, lie is entirely original
and has no semblance to Mr.
Jones except that they are both
preaching the same gospel alter
their own styles. The people of
Kiogstret should esteem it a great
privilege to have him preach for
them a week. Mr. Leitch is a
powerlul factor for good, and
wherever he preaches good is

Another Robbery.
On Sunday night last there was
a big robbery committed at Scranton
this county. Someone very
misteriouely entered the store r11

lars from their sale. The ?untor
member of the firm was slee ting
in the store, and the safe " as
locked, and was tound locked Monday
morning, vet the money was
gone. The mysterious pari of the
whole proceeding is how they got
the money out of the safe. No
clue whatever to the roboers.
