THE DISPENSARY ROBBERY. j

Since the election of Dispenser
Player a little over a year
ago the dispensary has been
broken into and robbed three j
tiroes, all of which has happened !
within the past sis-months.
Alter these repealed warnings!

should be indignant about the!
wholesale robbery of Thursday
night. To keep so large an amount'
o{ public money in . a building;
which had time and again proved j
to be insecure was the worst sort
of business .lodgement, to say the
Jeast of it. and Hie fact, that the I
dispenser was not under bond,
still further aggravate? the circumstances
under which the robbery
occurred.
The situation calls for vigorous

in pursuit, the robbers might
have been captured; but the delay

The governor has done all in
' Lis power to aid in the matter by
offering a liberal reward for the
guilty parties, and it is thought
that some detective work in a
quiet way has been brought to
bear on the situation. Injustice

tangible evidence may be discovered,
and tor the sake of the children
who have been robbed of

be spared to land the robbers in

justly belong.
The dispensary at this place as
