Painful Acccdent to a Lady Near
Bloomingvale
On Sunday morning November
IS, Miss Josephine Martin, who
lor several years has been a member
of the household of Rev. S. T.
Russell, near Bloomingvale posti.fliee,
was painfully injured by
t le accidental dischargeof a pistol.

the boys of the tamily, which were
left hanging on a chair. In removing
the garment, without
knowing the contents of the pock
et, Miss Martin dropped it to
the floor, causing a cartridge in'
the pistol to explode, the ball
striking her about six inches below
the knee, glancing from the
bone and ranging upward several

called in and the bullet
soon extracted. The wound,
