We noticed in last week's Lake
City Time* an article casting epithets
at the edito; of Tiie County
Kbcokd, and attacking this paper's
utterances regarding the recent
postoffice tragedy. It was our in_,
tention to let the article pass as
not worth the attention of a gen
tleman, but the editor of the Lake
City Times called to see us last
Monday and told us that, while the
article was his leading editorial, it
was written at the dictation of
someone else, and expressed public
sentiment and not that of the
. ^ editor; that he was a public servant,

article at the instigation of another,
