I7V/I The female bicyclists seem to be increasing here of late. At almost any time of the day some young lady can be seen riding on the streets. The pleasant weather makes such exercise agreeable. Miss Lizzie McCinm, who went to Cokesburv some days since to attend the high school at that place stopped over here Sunday night on her way home to Hebron. Sickness caused her to return so soon. We hope she will be abie to return to resume his studies in a few days. Mr. Wells, traveling agent for the Karle's Arithmetical Charts, was in town Friday. The ladies were invited to be present, and a number of both sexes graced the occasion with their presence. The querry discussed was, "Resolved: That War is a prenter .National Evil that Whi-key is. Both sides brought out some good points, but the debate was decided in favor of the Neg. All the business finished, the meeting was adjourned at 10:30 o'clock. Mr. Edgar Lesesne, an employee of the Atlantic Coast Line, who has been at home for several davs nursing a vaccinated arm, was able to return to his business Saturday evening. Last Friday night Mrs. Shaw, an evangelist, commenced a series of services in the town hall, but owing to circumstances over which she nor anyone eise had control, she decided to quit Sunday night, ar Last for the present.
