S J Bethea. who has served the LakeCity circuit fo-fonrconsei a tire years, left Wednesday for Latta, Marion comity, whence, after spending a few days with relatives and friends in that vicinity, accompanied by his family, he will go on to Mnllins to assume pastoral charge of the work there. Mr. Carl W. Hill, ex-editor of the T^ake City Times, left Monday for his home in Darlington. Mr. Hill wjis a resident of onr town for about eight mouthy and during that time he made many warm friends here, all of whoiu regret his departure. He carries with him our best wishes, and we bespeak for him success in his new field of labor. Rumor says that the postoffiee here will soon be abolished and that negroes will be appointed at Scran ton and Cades.
