Heeling of the South Carolina Sun
day School Convention.
To Friends and Workers;
We send herewith a programme of
the 15th Annual Convention of the
State Sunday School Association at
Marion, S ('., lieginning Tuesday
night April 5th and closing Thurs
day night April 7th, 1892. We are
confident you will find the “hill of
fare” to lie excellent in all its fea
tures, particularly so in the Practical.
Normal Teaching features as con
ducted by Prof. 11. M. llamill, of
Illinois. This distinguished Rililc
teacher has a reputation among Sun
day School workers throughout this
whole country and his presence at the
Convention ought to induce a large
attendance. Normal teaching, as ap
plied to Sunday Schools, is receiving
more and more attention almost
everywhere and South Carolina
workers cannot afford to be behind.
Mr. Win. Reynolds, already well
known in this State, will also he
present and by his enthusiasm will
add greatly to the interest and profit
of the meeting.
Other prominent workers from
this and other States will attend and
participate in the work of the Con
vention.
This is an opportunity ,no active
Sunday School worker should fail to
use. We earnestly request you, dear
friend and brother, to at once ar
range to attend this Marion conven
tion and to induce others to do the
✓ same. Will yon not also offer fervent
prayer to the Great Teacher for a
profitable meeting.
All railroads in the State are ar
ranging to sell tickets at reduced
rates. Ask your agent about it.
“Gospel Hymns,”consolidated, will
be used. The singing will Lcgrand.
Bring Bible and note hook.
Officers of County Coventions are
requested to notify delegates elect,
secure their attendance, or provide
^substitutes. Much depends on such
efforts. Will von fail to do your
part?
Pastors and Superintendents will
please call attention of their con
gregations and schools to this Con
vention and remember it in their
prayers.
Let cyery one who will attend
notify Mr. E. H. Gasquc, Marion, S.
C., so that entertainment may be
secured for everyone. The sooner
you can notify him the better. Be
sure to be present at the opening of
the Convention Tuesday night April
dtli.
We respectfully request all secular
iiitd religions papers, both daily and
weekly to give this programme a
place in their columns with as ex-'
tnided editorial mention as possible.
We realize we cannot properly adver
tise such a meeting without the aid
of the press.
Full reports of tlic present condi
tion and tlie prospects of the Sunday
School work in South Carolina will
be presented and plans for its exten
sion will he thoroughly discussed.
Let every county, city, town and
hamlet be represented.

Good Looks.
Good looks arc more than skin
deep, depending upon a healthy con
dition of all the vital organs. If the
liver lie inactive, you have a bilious
look, if yyur stomach he discorded
you have a dyspeptic look and if your
kidneys lie affected you have a pinch
ed look. Secure good health and you
will have good looks. Kleclric Bit
