every effort to have an attractive ex
hibition at the coming Fair, and we

some interest in it,and show that in
terest by sending something to help
out and by inducing everyone else

stated tluse annual exhibitions have
been of immense lienellt in many
ways, and it will show a lamentable
lack of enterprise to let them fail for

seen w hat Darlington is prepared to
do in the way of tine horses, and we
trust that all our jicople will take
I enough interest in the Fair to see to
it that, in every other department,
we are as well represented as we w ill
be in the one alluded to. Toexhibit
articles just simply for the premiums,
is to say the least, rather a selfish
view to take of it. It is clearly the
duty of everyone to help the wvhibi-
tion, and in doing this wc help the
State anil, of course, ourselves, for
w hatever tends to adierlise our re-
