The action of the Returning Hoard oi the Pino State in counting out the Republican majority of its Legisla ture and giving certificates to Demo cratic majority, and thereby ensur ing the seating of a Democratic Governor hus doubtless knocked the refined sensibilities of the great mor al idea party of the country, the im imaculatc sweet scented Republican party, which capped some of its vil liaus by counting in a President and prepet rating the most bohl faced steal in the world. It is a commen tary on the Republican political tui tion, and is the sequence of it. There is an old saying that "sins, like chick ens, come home to roost," and this i.s a verification of the maxim. How it must shock the Radical saints to he caught, at their own game and beaten.
