right, without regard to frowns and

The ' Atlanta Constitution" very
sensibly remarks thai there is no rea
son why cotton planters should not
be able to control the price of the
staple as easily and profitably as the
cotton speculator. It is no longer a
question of supply and demand, but
n question of money, co-operation and
manipulation. One of these days the
planters will make something out of
the lessons the speculators arc teach -
ing them.
