IT. Kimpton charged with curtain crimes against tho laws of our Statu. That de mand was, not only, not satisfied, but Hampton was charged with duplicity in demanding Kimpton for one charge when he wanted him for another purpose Of course such an abuse of authority and head of a courtesy, existing between States for a hundred years, called forth mid deserved a sharp r-buko at the bauds of Gov. Unless tho people in the country take an interest in their County Fair it will go down. Hut 1 hope all will take a pride in making it a suc cess. We intend to give prizes such as will bo useful, in all the de partments; this we think right and propor. The Fair brings together our peo ple once a year to show the results of the farm and shop ; tt stimulates to renewed action ami ellbrls; to tiy to do better each year. It would awake me, and I ""?nM have to gi>t up and Pit up till it would wear off. These attacks hecame m^ro and more frciiueiit, and iiicre?sed more and more in violence until the springof IST'j, when tbey herame alarming. I had to sit up most of tho nights, could not breathe in a'iy othar position, and not in a Kilting posi.ion with out vtry painful difficulty. It was attended with a very had cough. Thoos pectorationii were of a white frothy character and vory tough I became very weak and feoble. My physician did what he could, hut to lit* tie purpose. If he knew whit ailed me, ho kept it concealed from nie. I, howover, w.*w Rationed that the dread disease ?f consump tion was fast sotting in upon my lungs,. Providentially I saw the rocommendat'on of the Hon. Ah x.JH- Stephens of iheGlobo flower Syrup, ami having known him for years, and also of his physical iafirmitie?, I determined te make a trial of tho Syrup. I bought a bottle and commenced taking it as per directions. I felt a sensation of relief after the fust dose (taken at night,) but had to get up before day and sit up as usual. 1 continued to take through the next day as directed and at night before retiring. I J have not h id to get up since. I continued I to take it regularly until I took three bot tles. The cough gradually- subsided, breathing became clear and easy, and for twelvemonths I have been in perfect health ?no cough, no asthinctio affection, and I cheerfully attribute my cure to the use 01 the Globe Flower Sprup, and would recom mend it to all similarly aillicted. My official and professional labors are particu larly straining to tho lungs, but I am per fectly sound and well, and have no symp* toms of any hmg disease. I keep some of the Syrup on hand, and perhaps once a month take a dose or it, which I think keeps the lungs vigorous and healthy. 1 have been thinking for some time that T would add my testimony to the virtues of the Globe Flower Syrup, and now take oc casion to do so; and if you can make any use of the above so as to benefit the suffer in? everywhere, you are at liberty to do so Respectfully yours, W.
