The Convention then went into nomination by ballot, for live candi dates to the Lower House, and tho following nominees having received a majority of tho votes cast, were de clared the candidates of the Conven. tion :? Sheridan had served six or soven years in the Legis laturc of this Slate and saw no reason why Mr. M >rgan should not do like wise.
