I had to sit up most of the nights, could not breathe in any other position, and not in a sitting posi.iou witl out very painful difficulty. It was attended with a very bad cough. The ex pectorations were of a white frothy character and very tough 1 became very Meal; and feeble. My physician did what he could, but to lit tie purpose. If lie knew what ai'ed me, he kept it concealed from me. I, however, wits satisfied that the dread disease of consunp lion was fast setting in upon my lungs,", Providentially I saw the reconimcndat'on of the Hon. Alex.|M. Slcpuenaof thcOlnhc Flower Syrup, and having known him for years, and also of his physical infirmities, 1 determined to make a trial of thctsyrnp. 1 bought a bottle and commenced taking it as per directions. I fell a sensation of relief after the first dose (taken at night.) but bad to get upbefoic diiy and sit up as usual. 1 continued to take through the next lay as diiectcd and at night before retiring. I have not hid to get up since. 1 continued to take it regularly until 1 took three bot tles'. The cough gradually subsided, breathing became clear and easy, and for twelvemonths I have been in perfect health ?no cough, ho nsthmctic a (lection, and 1 cheerfully attribute my cure to the use of the Globe b lower Sprup, and would recom mend it to all similarly nfllictcd. My official ami professional labors are particu larly straining to the lungs, but I am per fectly sound and well, and have no symp toms of any lung disease. I keep some of the Syrup Oil hand, and perhaps once a month take a dose of it, which 1 think keeps the lungs vigorous and healthy. 1 have been thinking for some time that I would add my testiiuonv to the virtues of the Globe Flower Syrup, and now take oc casion to do so; and it* you can make any use of the above st) in to benefit the suflcr ing everywhere, you aro at liberty to do so.
