It was a civil marriage and
the ceremony was performed by
Judge David McAdaim- The
couple stood under a wedding
bell of while silk and ferns,
which was hung in the midst of
an exquisite bower of palms and
lilies. The bride’s costume came
from Worth and was a magnifi
cent creation of gold colored
satin and chiffon, heavily em
broidered with heliotrope, stones
and pearls. On her neck she
wrote a priceless necklace of
diamonds.
The trousseau was ordered
from Worth, and fabulous stor
ies of its beauty were being told
around the hotel. The maids say
they have caught glimpses of
hose worth $25 and if Ju a pair.
The under-wear is a dream.
Some dainty robes-de-nuit are
Chinese silk of almost trans
parent thinness, and one trim
med with ribbon bows of peacock
blue. The traveling dress is
pearl gray, with wrap and hat
to match.
A Felix gown is in pink and
black. One of the tea gowns is
a marvelous creation in white
chiffon and yellow lace. A re
ception toilette is of green moire
antique and a white satin to be
worn with opals is the most
beautiful of all.
Among the presents were
a silver tea service and diamond
brooch from Col. and Mrs.
Marco, a diamond bracelet from
Mrs. E. Q. Taylor, a gold log-
nette from Mrs. Holcomb, a
gold and diamond flower holder
from-Mrs. Bolton, and a dia
mond necklace and pendant, the
gift of the groom, Mr. Cornelius
Marco.

where Mr. Marco will continue

morning by a Mercury reporter,

entirely happy at the prospect of
her approaching nuptials. She
was very busy getting ready for
the ceremony.
