living at West Hurley ho would die of
consumption. He was told he must
make a change of climate, and so Brink
made tho change. Instead, however,
of going several hundred inilee away,
he changed climates in a perpendicular
direction, and hy making las home
over 3 000 feet above the sea lie found |
the dryness of atmosphere that was es .
sential to his recovery. Now a more
vigorous and hardy man could scarcely
bo found in tho state. Mountain air
