Clerk of the Court. The amount

A heavy frost fell throughout
the County on Monday night.
It was' particularly severe in the
upper part of the County. Po

have been greatly damaged. It
is probable that the frost will
retard the opening of late cottoj.
The Darlington Sub-Alliance
has appointed Wednesday, the

when the members of the Order
will sell all their cotton. An
invitation has been extended to
all the other Sub-Alliances of
the County to join the Darling
ton Alliance in this move. It is

jail; Lewis Williams, murder, in.
the Bennettsville jail; Henry
Lowry, larceny of live stock, in
the Marion jail; Lewis Williams,
house breaking, in the town
guard house.
Mrs. Frank Cook, of Ala
bama, who is on a visit to her
father, Mr. G. M. McCown, met
with a serious accident on the

Carriage on the way to her fath
