Section 1. Be it elected by the Senate
and House of Rep'eseaUtives of lb* State
of South Carolina, now met and sitting in
General Assembly, and by the authority of
the same. That in all eases Where unim
proved land whioh has been upen tbe tax
books since- tbe fiscal year commencing
November 1, 1887, and which ste aot on
the Ivrfeited list, shall at any time before
the 1st day of OcfhVer, 1888, be return*!
to the County Auditor for taxation, Iba
said Auditor be. and is hereby instructed,
to aseeas tbe same and to color it,upon the
duplicate of the fiscal year commencing
November 1, 1887, with tb* simple taxes
of that year.
Section 2. That all such land* as may bs
returned to tho Auditor for taxation bo-
tween tbe firet day ef October, 1888, sno
the Aral day of Oetobor, 1889, shell be *s-
-e.-sed aud charged with the simple taxes
efthe two fiscal years commencing, re- 1
epectively, on the first day of November,
