6. E. Bundrick
George Ernest Bundrick, 56,
died early Saturday morning
at the Mills Clinic in Prosperity,
S. C.
Mr. Bundrick was bom and
reared in Lexington County and
was the son of George Elwell
and Mrs. Elizabeth Kathryn
Smith Bundrick He had made
his home in Newberry for a
number of years and was em
ployed by Oakland Plant of Ken
dall Mills. He was a member
of Glenn Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs.
Meredith Bush Bundrick, New
berry; one son, Floyd Wyman
Bundrick, Greenville, his pa
rents, Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Bun
drick, Prosperity; one brother,
Bernon Royce Bundrick, New
berry; three sisters, Mrs. An
gie Kathryn Jones, Mrs. Alber
ta Dominick and Mrs. Coritta
Whitman, all of Newberry; one
granddaughter, Sheramy De
Ann Bundrick, Greenville.
Funeral services were held
Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. from
Glenn Street Baptist Church
with Rev. Donald West con
ducting the service. Interment
was in Springdale Section of
Rosemont Cemetery.
Mrs. Ethel Shealy
Mrs. Ethel H. Shealy, 80, wife
of the late Horace L. Shealy,
died Saturday night at the New
berry County Memorial Hospi
tal.
Mrs. Shealy was born and
reared in Newberry County and
was the daughter of the late
J. Pressley and Nancy Hawkins
Hawkins. She had made her
home in Prosperity for a num
ber of years and was a mem
ber of Grace Lutheran Church,
the L.C.W. and the garden club.
Surviving are one son, Wil
liam Elmer Shealy, Newberry;
two sisters, Mrs. O. S. Lind-
ler, Rembert, S. C. and Mrs.
Boyd Graham, Chapin; two
grandchildren and one great
grandchild.
Funeral services were held
Monday afternoon at 4 p.m.
from Grace Lutheran Church
with Rev. J. Alvin Fulmer con
ducting the service. Interment
was in Newberry Memorial
Gardens.
Larry A. Dolin
Larry Allen Dolin, 29, of Rt.
1, Prosperity, Fairview com
munity, died Thursday.
Born in Charleston, W. Va.,
son of Mrs. Hazel Dolin Lane
of Prosperity and the late Earl
Dolin, he lived in Clinton 11
years.
Surviving also are his step
father, Ernest C. Lane of Pros
perity; a sister, Miss Sandra
Dolin of Atlanta, Ga.; two step
sisters, Mrs. Ernestine Davis
and Mrs. Dianne Norton of Co-

Monroe Rowe
Monroe “Bo” Rowe, 63, of
Clinton, died Friday.
Bom in Saluda, son of the
late Marion and Polly Rowe,
he was a produce salesman.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs
Eva Chastine Rowe; two daugh
ters, Mrs. Edith Crowder of
Joanna and Mrs. Carolina Sue
Edmonds of Clinton; two sons,
Tony and J. C. Rowe of Clin
ton; five brothers, Homwer, Hu
bert, Will and Alvin Rowe of
Saluda and Wilson Rowe of
Newberry; and five grandchil
dren.
Funeral servces were held
Sunday at 4 p.m. at Bellview
Baptist Church, with burial in
Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
Arthur Baker, Jr.
Arthur Lee Baker Jr., 44, of
Rt. 1, Winnsboro Highway, New
berry, died Wednesday.
Born in Clinton, son of At-
thur Lee Baker Sr. and Mrs.
Sally Elizabeth Cogdill Baker
of Newberry, he was employed
by Winco Trailer Homes of
Clinton and was a veteran of
the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are three brothers,
Ernest Bobby Baker of Ki-
nards, William “Billy” Baker
of Newberry, and Thomas
Franklin Baker of Clinton.
Funeral services were held
Saturday at 3 p.m. at Gray
Funeral Home, Clinton, with
burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
Mr., Mrs. Baker
Charles Frederick Baker Sr.,
42, and his wife, Mrs. Virginia
Overstreet Baker, died Wed
nesday.
He was born in Enoree, son
of Arthur Lee Baker Sr. and
Sally Elizabeth Cogdill Bak
er of Newberry, was a textile
employee and a World War II
veteran.
She was born in Clinton,
daughter of Mrs. Lola Mae
Overstreet of Clinton and the
late Ruben Overstreet, was an
employee of Lydia Mills and
attended Lydia Church of God.
Surviving are a son, Charles
Fredrick Baker Jr. of Clinton;
three brothers, Ernest Bobby
Baker of K i n a r d s, William
“Billy” Baker of Newberry and
Thomas Franklin Baker of Clin
ton; and one grandson.
Also surviving Mrs. Baker
are two sisters, Mrs. Mattie
Den of Williamston and Mrs.
Betty Jo Frick of Clinton;
three brothers, James Over-
street of Mauldin, Henry Over-
street of Clinton and Ruben
Overstreet of Laurens.
Funeral services were held
at 3 p.m. Saturday at Gray
Funeral Home, with burial in
Rosemont Cemetery.
