CHOICE
Look back and see where we have been and you
will see where we are going for the next four
years unless we make a change in this years
election for the office of sheriff. This time, we
have a choice.
EXPERIENCE
Experience is necessary only if it is used in the
right way and not for personal gain of any
individuals.
REQUIREMENTS
Common sense and hard work to provide fitness
to supply the natural needs of the people. Uphold
laws that are justly passed. Establish and
maintain a department with no sideline interest.
Take justice out of individuals hands and place it
in the courts.
We should Vote and Elect sensible and Honorable men to all levels of
Government. Stand up for what we believe in and know to be the best interests of the
people regardless of race, color or creed.
I am a taxpaying citizen with a worthwhile purpose for running for the office of
Sheriff. I wouldn’t run if I didn’t think I could handle the job. If I am elected, I will
take schooling at the Law Enforcement Div. in Columbia, at no expense to this county
so all problems can be met and delt with in the proper way.
I am not obligated to any political faction or to any one man or to anybody. I am
running on my own merits of Honesty and Soberness and I don’t belong to any clubs or
organizations. This is my own choosing because I will not be dictated to by anyone.
ii
All of my life I have heard -- If we keep the sheep fat and happy we will have
plenty of wool. Who’s Expense?
1 expect every vote that is cast for me to be counted for me with NO outside
advise, no help at the polling precincts and no moneys passed.
I Respectfully Request your Vote
and Support August 29th for
THOMAS B.
(Tom) PERRY
