City Inspector A Columbia native has been employed by the State Board of Health to inspect restaurants in Newberry County according to County Health Officer Dr Von A Long John E. Brantley replaces William W. Floyd as the coun ty s food technologist. In addi tion to restaurants. Brantley will inspect school lunchrooms, snack bars, soda fountains, and other eating places. A graduate of Columbia's A C. Flora High School. Brantley has attended Spartanburg Ju nior Co’lege and the Univer sity of South Carolina. He hopes to resume part time studies at the University soon Currently he is undergoing training at the State Board of Health in Columbia.
