POUND AND SAW . . . Future carpenters can safely try
out their skills with this wooden workbench. The saw is worked
across the bench, producing a realistic sawing sound. The plastic
headed hammer is for pounding the unbreakable wooden nail.
Spring-mounted, the nail pops back into position when hit and
makes a “squeak, squeak” sound.
HONORED ON RETIREMENT—Mrs. Edna H. Feagle
receives a gift from John T. Norris, chairman of the
Newberry County Department of Public Welfare. Mem
bers of the Welfare Department staff honored Mrs.
Feagle with a reception last Wednesday afternoon. Gifts
presented to Mrs. Feagle included a silver tray, two silver
