great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were con
ducted by Rev. Taylor Camp
bell at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Woods
Chapel United Methodist Church,
Greer. Burial was in Hillcrest
Memory Garden.
Mrs. Ellie Owens
had local kin
Mrs. Ellie Whitmire Owens,
at 2006 River Street for a num
ber of years and was a mem
ber of Epting Methodist Church.
Surviving are one daughter,
Mrs. Mary R. James, New
berry; one sister, Mrs. Fannie
B. Rowe, Ninety Six; three
grandchildren, Daniel James,
Bobby Joe James and Von Ray
lames, all of Newberry; and a
number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held
Monday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.

with Rev. M. B. Lee and Rev.
Donald West conducting the ser
vice. Burial was in Rosemont
Cemetery.

Friday afternoon at 3 p.m.

Church, with Rev. James H.
Nates and Rev. Shannon Long
conducting the service. Burial
was in Whitmire Cemetery.
