The Newberry Sun, Newberry, S. C., Thursday, Dec. 10, 1970—PAGE 5 daughters, Mrs. Ed Wood and Mrs. Richard Cook of New berry; a son, Nelson Kinard of Greer; a brother, James Ki nard of Newberry; two sisters, Mrs. Lee Leitzsey and Mrs. Henry Livingston of Pomaria; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were con ducted by Rev. Taylor Camp bell at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Woods Chapel United Methodist Church, Greer. Burial was in Hillcrest Memory Garden. Mrs. Ellie Owens had local kin Mrs. Ellie Whitmire Owens, at 2006 River Street for a num ber of years and was a mem ber of Epting Methodist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Mary R. James, New berry; one sister, Mrs. Fannie B. Rowe, Ninety Six; three grandchildren, Daniel James, Bobby Joe James and Von Ray lames, all of Newberry; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. from Epting Methodist Church with Rev. M. B. Lee and Rev. Donald West conducting the ser vice. Burial was in Rosemont Cemetery. Jones, York; one [daughter, Mrs. Louise Revels, Richburg; her mother, Mrs. Ef fie M. Palmer, Whitmire and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. from the Whitmire Methodist Church, with Rev. James H. Nates and Rev. Shannon Long conducting the service.
