The Irish question is the sub ject of the first program of the season for the College’s Artists and Lecturers Series when Grattan Freyer, Irish critic and journalist, speaks at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, in the A. G.. D. Wiles Chapel. The pro gram is free. About 600 parents are expect ed on campus Saturday for the 12th annual Parents’ Day pro gram. Registration for the event sponsored by the Alumni Asso ciation will begin at noon at the Wright Building. Parents’ Day will be high lighted by the 7:30 football con test between the Newberry In dians and the undefeated Wof ford Terriers. The College’s Special Football Nights for area residents continues this week with Saluda serving as the honored community. The Newberry College Wo men’s League has also schedu led its annual meeting for Sa turday. The program will begin at 11 a.m. in the Wiles Chapel followed by a luncheon in Kauf- mann Hall. The art exhibit in the Wiles Chapel Theatre and Wessels Li brary will remain on display through the end of the month. B.
