“KILL YOUR PARENTS,”
CRIES RUBIN
We have obtained a tape re
cording of the speech made at
Kent State University by the
vicious hate-monger Jerry
Rubin calling on rebellious
youth to murder their parents
as the first step in the armed
overthrow of the U.S. He made
the revolutionary speech just a
short time before mob attacks
were made on the Ohio Na
tional Guard which resulted
in the fatal shooting of four
Kent students. The rioting mob
at Kent State on May 4 did
precisely what the bearded
Rubin cried out for in an hour-
long harangue to 1,000 Kent
students brought together on
campus by a handful of Com
munist revolutionaries. The
mob was revolting against
“the system” and its institu
tions.
“What’s everybody doing
here?” Rubin asked the crowd
of students gathered on “The
Commons” at Kent. Then he
answered the question: “Kent
State is the center of the
revolution, because last year
everybody (in the movement)
was relating to what was
happening here. Seems like
everytime you picked up the
paper, things were burning
and people were fighting pigs
and so forth. It’s now in a
quiet period, but it is going
to get exciting again! Kent
State is one of the homes of
the ‘Weatherman,’ who . . .
are the Vanguard of the white
revolution.”
Inciting To Kill
Rubin, convicted with the
“Chicago 7” of inciting riots
in Chicago, who constantly
advocates the burning down
of America and the violent
overthrow of the Government,
was agitating the mob at
Kent after other out-of-state
subversive firebrands had
come to the campus to stir the
revolt to greater heat — Mark
Rudd, SDS revolutionary, Com
munist Bernadine D o h r n,
Joyce Cecora, who demanded
that the radical students get
guns and take over the uni
versity.
“The first part of the Yip
pee program,” cried Rubin,
“is ‘kill your parents.’ And
I mean that quite seriously.
Because until you are pre
pared to kill your parents you
are not really prepared to
change the country. Because
our parents are our first op
pressors. And the most op
pressed people in the world
are young people.
“Break Every Law”
The bearded young revolu
tionary boasted of the success
of the “Chicago 7” in disrupt
ing the court where they were
tried. “Disrupting the court
system is ‘right on!” he
roared. “We have to disrupt
every institution and break
every law; we’ve got to all
become criminals.”
Although I have never seen
the report in any newspaper
or heard it on radio or TV,
Jerry Rubin, in his Kent Uni
versity speech this spring, de
clared he and his co-defend
ants in the Chicago trial were
actually guilty of conspiracy.
“We were found not guilty of
what we’re guilty of — con
spiracy; and guilty for cross
ing state lines to incite a riot,”
he told the Kent mob which
was mobilized by the young
Communists so that he could
incite the students to “rape”
the university, bum down its
ROTC barracks and wreak
great destruction on the city
of Kent. “Instead of going to
jail for 10 years (for conspir
acy),” Rubin boasted, “we go
to jail for five years. And so
it was great! Isn’t that great
— its beautiful!”
“Are Your Ready?”
He said, “You’re never go
ing to reach the (authorities;
he calls them the ‘ruling
class’). “They’re never going
to change their mind; you’re
going to have to eliminate
them (by killings).” Hurling
obscenities against “pigs” and
other law enforcement agen
cies, Rubin joked that the FBI
couldn’t keep court-acceptable
records against revolutionaries
such as himself because the
FBI wouldn’t write down the
obscenities; and thus the
documents in court had blanks
all through them. He con
cluded:
“We’ve got to say right to
the government, and it can be
said right here today at Kent
State — everybody can say it:
If the government lays one
hand on Bobby Seale in Con
necticut (Black Panther of
ficial on trial for allegedly
murdering a former comrade)
everv single campus across
this country is going to fall —
are you ready for that?” The
crowd responded with wild
cheers.
A nation is entirely vulner
able to subversive destruction
when traitors can openly advo
cate killing innocent people,
incite riots and advocate and
teach the violent overthrow of
the Government. Rubin and
hundreds of others are doing
it today. And because they are
permitted to continue to do it,
their following is swiftly ex
panding. The nation’s security
is gravely endangered.
KEEP IT CLEAN
ij
DEAR VIRGINIA WHITE:
Enzymes and enzyme pre
soaks are big on grocers’
shelves, yet I keep reading
articles in the newspapers and
national magazines about the
Federal Trade Commission in
vestigating the cause of itch
ing or rashes, respiratory prob
lems, etc. by enzymes. What
is your opinion of enzyme prod
ucts? LEERY SHOPPER.
DEAR SHOPPER: I, too,
have read the many items
about the dan
gers of enzymes
causing itching
or rashes, etc. I
'would suggest
I that you try a
I product such as
Miracle White
Powerizer Super
Cleaner in order to rid cloth
ing of enzyme residue. As
clothes are washed there is a
build up of soap, detergent and
enzyme residues. To prove that
your clothes contain these resi
dues make this simple test. Fill
your washing machine with
water, add V2 cup Powerizer
Super Cleaner; DO NOT add
any detergent or soap. Add
clothes; allow to agitate ten
(10) minutes and notice the
impurities, detergent, etc. that
have left the clothes and are
in the water. Get a glass and
hold it to the light, and note
how really clean the clothes
become.
Hint of the Week!
To keep Tupperware storage
containers free from odor till
with hot water; add 1 or more
tablespoons baking soda to
each container; allow to stand
overnight. Wash in hot sudsy
water, rinse and dry. If odor
remains, place open containers
in freezer overnight, remove
and repeat washing instruc
tions as above.
Common and Rare
Of the 90-odd elements in the
earth’s crust, nickel ranks 24th
in abundance. Yet, it is estimated
that nickel ranks 11th or 12th in
abundance in the cosmos.
Nickel Coins Replace Silver
Four countries introduced sev
en denominations of coins in
pure nickel for the first time in
1969. Four of the coins replaced
those previously minted in silver.
