of the Ninth Annual Convention
of the Southeastern Synod of
the Lutheran Church in Amer
ica in Savannah, Ga. on April
15.
Host congregation for the con
vention and site of the worship
services will be the Lutheran
Church of the Ascension. The
three-day meeting begins at
1 p.m. Tuesday, April 14 and
is expected to adjourn at 1 p.m.
Thursday, April 16.
After their concert dt the con
vention, the 60-voice Newberry
College Singers, under the dir
ection of Dr. Milton Moore, will
have a few days of rehearsal
before their home spring con
cert 4 p.m. Sunday, April 19,
in the Wiles Chapel.
